SOFLAM for recon unit

so what are your take on SOFLAM i played a few rounds with player using it we raped all over the other teams air support i don't think enough players use it what are your take on it

personally i think the soflam is garbage, it only really effective if ur using it to paint targets for mortars or vehicles, trying to use it with the javelin is a joke, as the javelin rocket itself is WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY underpowered and very slow , to slow to really catch anything airborne, it does serve its purpose tho, and i think utilized correctly could be a very harmful blow that could be dealt to our enemies.

besides at a minimum theres no better points than designator and spotter points haha

IMO, the soflam is really helpful for me when i'm gunning in an attack helicopter, because I use guided shell, which locks onto anything that is designated ;D.

will i just notice theres be differences when one side is using it in combine with guild-shell in the tanks its just seem if they get in a good position on the bigger open maps they can block the other team from using any vehicles its a pain in the ass when your on the other end of it

agreed^^ but its one of those use it well techniques or go home ya know.

I'd love to see more people using the SOFLAM. it would def help out the guys in tanks.
